Shed a Little Light

Where do old windows go to die? I’d like to make them an offer to live a new life as part of my little garage studio space. My grandmother-in-law had a greenhouse behind her house, once upon a time, made entirely of old windows and doors. It was painted green and I swooned every time I saw it. Her husband built it for her. It was tidy and well built and did not scream Secondhand Rose but I saw the resourcefulness in its bones. I loved that it was practical—built from repurposed materials. I will have to figure this plan to add light to my space on my own and it may be less tidy but I think I’d like to try to do something similar.I love this little building. It needs some love and light and maybe a wooden deck floor that I can clomp around on in my clogs and boots.
